The Migration Report

We recommend every team run the Migration Report before converting to Scroll Documents. The Migration Report is intended to help you identify the specific features of Scroll Versions or Scroll Translations that are currently being used in your spaces, and you can generate it via the Confluence administration section.

In this article you’ll learn how to create the migration report in Confluence

Before You Start

Before generating the migration report, ensure you meet the following prerequisites:

  • Ensure you are logged in with a global Admin user account.

  • Verify that you have the latest available version of Scroll Versions or Scroll Translations (at least 4.5.2) installed.

How to Create the Report

To generate the migration report:

  1. Log in to your Confluence instance with your Admin user credentials.

  2. Navigate to Confluence administration > Space analysis.

  3. Click Analyze. A report table will be generated on the same page, providing a comprehensive overview of how Scroll Versions or Scroll Translations have been used in different spaces.

Well done!

You have successfully generated a migration report for all spaces in your Confluence system. Take the time to thoroughly review the report and use it as a tool to determine whether now is the right time for you to migrate to Scroll Documents.
